Most pleas for photos (especially to Kate, who looks like a movie star) we declined. This school group visiting the religious sites of Mahabalipuram however, was too charmin to turn down. I was excited about the Mancala board carved into the stone, which you can see in the foreground. A few of the girlds described how they play, and it's not all that different from the American adaptation of what I always thought was an African game.
